Mineral insulated heating cables are made up of a resistant conductor which is insulated in magnesium oxide and a continuous outer sheath of metal. The conductor is extruded in a line without the use of welding as described in the “Dettagli-tecnici-cavi-isolamento-minerale” .
The strength of the cable and the use of materials such as magnesium oxide, copper-nickel, stainless steel and inconel, make it the only solution for processes that reach temperatures between 350°C and 800°C.
